CMC Libraries

About Us

Colorado Mountain College Libraries support the college’s mission in equity, care, innovation, and integrity by providing professional librarians, collections that support our degree programs, information literacy instruction and assessment, research support, and inclusive spaces for student community.

Librarians provide personalized research assistance to support faculty and students. They help students develop critical information literacy skills by guiding them in how to identify, evaluate, and ethically use information from a wide range of sources—both within the library's collections and beyond. From personalized consultations to in-class sessions and helpful research guides, librarians are essential partners in helping students succeed and use information responsibly.

You can contact a librarian at cmclibraries@coloradomtn.edu, chat with us 24/7 and book an appointment with us, or drop by and visit us in Rifle, Edwards and Breckenridge, Spring Valley (Quigley), Leadville (Pinnacle Learning Commons) and Steamboat Springs (Bristol Hall, 3rd floor).

Our diverse collection includes both print and electronic materials. Our print collections are in Leadville, Steamboat Springs, and Spring Valley. Our electronic collection includes 98 databases with academic journals, films, and eBooks.
