Rich digital collections, physical materials, research assistance, and study spaces are all available at our CMC Libraries & Learning Commons.
CMC Libraries provide instant access to a comprehensive online collection of academic and leisure reading materials, helping students, faculty, and staff to meet their academic, professional, and personal goals. Online articles, ebooks, audiobooks, videos, images, statistics, and practice tests are available anytime anywhere with an Internet connection. The technology lending library includes laptops, hotspots, and calculators. Print materials and DVDs are housed at the CMC libraries in Leadville, Spring Valley, and Steamboat Springs. The interlibrary loan service is offered for articles, books, and videos not available in the CMC collection, leaving no resource out of reach.
Librarians are working in partnership with faculty to integrate information literacy instruction into the curriculum, encouraging the development of critical skills, curiosity, and lifelong learning. Personalized assistance is offered in-person and online, meeting individual learner needs.
The CMC Libraries encourage diversity of thought for our students and communities, serving as a catalyst for curiosity by providing innovative, relevant and quality information resources, services, and environments. Our passionate, responsive, and professional librarians empower lifelong learners with the critical information skills necessary to successfully meet academic, professional, and personal goals.
