CMC offers access to nearly 100 different databases.  You can search all of the databases with the search box towards the top of this page, go to the website page with all of our databases, or click on one of the databases below to start your search.  Remember, a librarian is always here to help so don't hesitate to reach out and ask for some support!

  • If you're looking for an article, or another online resource, use the default "Search" tab.
  • Looking for a book, or another physical item? Use the "Books & Media" tab.
  • If you need to find a specific journal or magazine, use the "Publications by Title" tab.
  • When you search the catalog with the "Books & Media" tab, you can also see items from other libraries around the state.
  • If you'd like to have one of those items sent here, just click on the "Place Hold" button in the catalog.
  • You'll need your CMC ID number to place the hold.
  • Need more help? Check out this guide!
  • If you're feeling lost in the stacks, ask a staff member. We're always happy to help!
  • The CMC Libraries use the Library of Congress Classification System.
  • In the Library of Congress system, call numbers alternate between alphabetical and numerical order. Like this:

You can find a searchable list right here!
Of course! Just click here to schedule an appointment with one of our librarians. If you're on the Steamboat Campus, be sure to select Jonathan if you'd like an in-person appointment.
You can also email us, call at 970-870-4445, or just walk up to the counter if you're around!
There is! Check out this page for tutorials and helpful links.
